  • SFTP file destination name

My source is a file reader that uses a filter of *.elg.
The file names dropped into this directory will always be different.

The destination is an SFTP writer which needs to write the file with the same source name.

I dragged Original File Name from the Destination Mappings over to the File Name field.

This doesn't seem to work as I expected it to. The file is being written on the other end as $('originalFilename') and not the actual name.

What step am I missing here?

Inside a Velocity template (like the destination connector fields), the correct syntax should be ${originalFilename}.
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.
