Mirth is aware of FHIR and it's something that we will support when the demand is there. We haven't had much demand yet to support FHIR in Mirth Connect, as it's relatively new.

We are currently working on a project and would like to standardise on FHIR. We shall need to communicate to other systems eg. OPENEMPI which do not yet support FHIR. Mirth seems like a great tool to bridge the gap until FHIR becomes widely adopted. +1 on the demand side for FHIR support. Any ideas when that might happen?

We don't currently have any estimated date to announce. You can vote on the following issue to let us know you are interested in it:

If you are also on support, I encourage you to contact the help desk and let them know you are interested in it, since we also prioritize customer requests for new features.

Not yet, no. Still very little demand overall, but we are planning on implementing this in a future version.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.
