  • Running/Building Mirth 1.2 Client

I snagged the Mirth source from SVN and was able to get the distribution build of the server up and running no problem. I am having some trouble with the client.

The client build works and generates mirth-client.jar, the JNLP, and the supporting files. When I go to run Mirth from http://localhost:8080 it fails. The error message is:
    "Unable to load resource: http://localhost:8080/lib/mirth-client.jar"

I attempted to debug-by-shotgun and place a copy of mirth-client.jar in every /lib folder. Where should this jar file be?

I built both the client and server using the ant buildfiles. I used create-dist for the server and create-client for the client.

    Thanks for your help!

    I had the same problem.

    You need to:
    1) Build the client: mirth-client.jar
    2) Copy mirth-client.jar to webapp/lib (in your Mirth Server project)

Also copy the mirth-client-core.jar to webapp/lib

Then when you build your mirth.war these jars will be available.

Do note that 1.2 has a few issues we are still resolving over the next few days. Proceed with caution!
