  • JavaScript / Java API Doc

    Hi there!

    I'd like to dig into JS programming on Mirth 1.3.2. I've added the JS code to call an stored procedure but I'm looking for an comprehnsive api list of classes and functions I could call from the inside of an JS code fragment.

    As an Example the call :

    DatabaseConnectionFactory.createDatabaseConnection

    isn't documented isn't it?

    Thanks for any reply, have a nice day and thanks for the great work!

    Daniel,

    It is coming - we're working on an extensive documentation package, but the priority is 1.4 right now.

        Ok, its been almost a year now, where's that extensive documentation of Mirth-specific JavaScript objects/functions? :/

            Re:JavaScript / Java API Doc

            Um, ok, :dry: that is not function documentation. I can get that from within Mirth itself. The document doesn't show function names, parameter info, examples, etc. Reading that document does nothing to enlighten me on the usage while programming javascript for a database writer.

              Resurrecting this post in order to see if there is documentation for the javascript specific to Mirth. Is there documentation I can access? Like the example above says, how do I know how things like DatabaseConnectionFactory.createDatabaseConnection () work or any other javascript? Thanks.

                Javascript Code to Call a Stored Procedure

                I woulkd like to see the code that is being used to call a Stored Procedure. My code is not working. It says it is successful but the data never makes it to the table.

                    Here ya go:

                    // Build string to execute a SQL 2008 stored proc passing in 2 params

                    var queryString = "EXEC QRDA_PatientInfo " + OffID + "," + PatID;

                    var result = dbConn.executeCachedQuery(queryString);
                    //
                    // Iterate through result set
                    //
                    while (result.next()) {
                    PatStaffID = result.getInt("columnNameHere");
                    }

                      Can I build the JavaDoc of Mirth myself?

                          I meant JavaDoc for the whole Mirth Connect product. I'm looking for a hypertext documentation of the methods I can call from JavaScript within Mirth.
